Payment to be paid in full before the first scheduled visit. We accept cash, check and Venmo.
Two (2) working copies of your house need to be provided at the initial consultation. Newer apartment/condo buildings requiring a FOB to enter should also be provided.
If keys/FOBs not provided at the initial consultation requiring a second trip there is a $10 pickup and $10 drop off charge.
We can keep your keys on file for future sittings but if you are unable to do so we strongly recommend you getting a lockbox where we can pick up the key at the first visit and drop it off after the last visit thus avoiding any extra charges. In secured buildings we can also leave the keys/FOBs with the building office, if they are open.
Very important to inform us at time of requesting service that your cat requires medication to make sure that we can accommodate your cat’s needs. No extra charge for administering medication but the service depends on your cat’s temperament and ease of administering meds/injections.
WHEN YOU ARE BACK HOME:
To ensure your cat’s well-being, please inform us of your safe return home. If we do not hear from you within 24 hours of the last scheduled visit, we will visit your cat again. This visit will be charged at normal visit rate of $32 and $47 on holidays.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE:
In your absence if your cat requires immediate medical attention, we will first try to reach you to approve care at your specified clinic or to the nearest 24 hr. emergency vet office. If we fail to reach you, we will contact your emergency contacts.
We will keep you informed via text/email/phone calls throughout.
Cat owner is responsible for payment and reimbursement of all veterinary costs upon their return.
Sitter’s time (transportation, wait time, medicine pickups, etc.) will be billed to the cat owner at the rate of $32 per 30 minutes and $47 per 30 minutes on a holiday.
Please provide cat food, treats, litter, litter bags, medications (if required) and other needed supplies to last the entire sitting assignment. If it’s necessary for the cat sitter to purchase any or additional supplies, the cat owner will be billed for the reimbursement of the cost of supplies as well as a pick-up fee of $30 and $60 during holiday periods.
We try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate your cat sitting needs. We also know that things come up which will mean postponing or cancelling the scheduled sittings. Keeping that in mind we have the following cancellation policy in place:
Regular Sittings: cancellation received less than 48 hours before the first scheduled visit is non-refundable for the first visit only but the rest of the sittings are refundable or held as credit.
Holiday Sittings: NO CASH REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR EARLY RETURNS DURING THE PERIOD LISTED BELOW:
Regular Holidays: Martin Luther King Jr., Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day
CANCELLATIONS REQUIRE 7 DAYS NOTICE PRIOR TO THE 1ST SCHEDULED VISIT OR $50 CANCELLATION FEE
Year-end Winter Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year
$100 non-refundable deposit or full booking amount whichever is less to be paid at time of booking and Full Payment two (2) weeks prior to 1st scheduled visit or your booking will be cancelled.
Changes/cancellations with 14-day notice prior to 1st visit are 100% refundable as credit only for future sittings – NO CASH REFUNDS
Changes/cancellations with seven (7) days or less notice are NON-REFUNDABLE – NO CASH REFUNDS OR CREDITS
Additional consultations are provided at the client’s request for $25 each.
